The Princeton Committee on Palestine (PCP) is a diverse group of Princeton students who stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people against injustice and in defense of human rights. We aim to end the occupation of the West Bank and the siege on the Gaza Strip. PCP members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, nations, and religions, but are united by a desire to see justice in Palestine. Th

e Princeton Committee on Palestine develops educational programming that raises awareness of the Palestinian narrative, Palestinian culture, and the Israeli government's ongoing occupation of the West Bank and siege on the Gaza Strip, as well as how these intersect with racism, militarism, colonization, environmental justice, freedom of movement, rights to education, and more. The Princeton Committee on Palestine initiated the Princeton Divests campaign on November 5th, 2014, inviting the Princeton University community to join 48 tenured professors in taking a historic stand for human rights by calling on the University to divest from companies complicit in the military occupation of the West Bank and the continuing siege of Gaza. MORE OF THIS!

Last Friday morning, October 3rd, activists blocked the main entrance to Port Elizabeth in New Jersey, one of the most critical sites for docking and transporting military cargo, including bomb bodies and ammunition used by Israel to destroy Palestinian homes, hospitals, and holy sites. Without the cargo transported from this port, Israel would not be able to conduct its horrific genocide.

Before being violently taken by police, these activists made their demand clear: our ports will not be used for genocide.

Standing in solidarity with workers from Italy all the way to Oakland, the people of New Jersey took direct action to intervene in two years of Israel’s genocide on Gaza and demand the U.S. implement a permanent arms embargo on Israel now!

Follow and to stay up to date with the global movement for a people’s arms embargo.

The Port of Elizabeth is the East Coast’s largest exporter of the weapons carrying out the US-Israeli genocide of Palestinians.

Before dawn on 10/3, autonomous good samaritans completely locked down North Ave, in an attempt to uphold international law. They flooded the crossing and created a huge blockage, making it impossible to ship anything.

The focus was clear; Maersk and ZIM at the Port of Elizabeth must cut ties with the genocidal entity immediately, or they will continue to incur harsher penalties to their bottom lines.

The State of Israel is attempting to silence its critics and isolate Palestinian civil society by branding six NGOs as ‘terrorist organizations.’ The Princeton Committee on Palestine decries this repressive action and supports the work of these vital organizations: Al-Haq, Addameer, Bisan Center, Defense for Children International-Palestine, the Union for Agricultural Work Committees, and the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees. They provide essential services such as legal support, research and advocacy. In particular, they seek to defend Palestinians from apartheid in various ways. It is precisely because these organizations are so vital that the State of Israel seeks to eliminate them. The Israeli Government has provided no evidence for this designation, while evidence to the contrary abounds [1]. Let us show that this malicious attempt to silence the critics of apartheid will only make our protests louder.

The Princeton Committee on Palestine is raising funds for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF - Palestine Children's Relief Fund) to help provide urgent humanitarian care for Gaza’s children. Gaza has been devastated by the recent bombings and destruction, and children in particular are vulnerable in this time of great need. A single death of any human is one too many - but the numbers speak for themselves: this is not a war. It is a one-sided onslaught. Funded by U.S. taxpayers, who help foot the bill for Israeli occupation, genocide and state-sanctioned terror against Palestinians.
