Congratulations to Dr. Thalia Wood, a 2013 graduate from the our program and head of Toll Gate High School's Social Studies Department in Warwick, RI. Thalia just returned from a week in Normandy with upcoming junior Rebecca Carcieri after winning one of the coveted spots among 15 student-teacher teams selected to learn more about the sacrifices that soldiers made during WWII. Among other things, they delivered a eulogy at the gravesite of an American soldier who died in the campaign to liberate France. http://warwickonline.com/stories/toll-gate-teacherstudent-team-help-remember-wwii-silent-hero,126882
