JWU Providence SAAC The student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled t The JWU SAAC holds meetings once a month.

The student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student athletes' lives on NCAA member institutions. The Johnson & Wales SAAC is comprised of two or three student-athletes from each of the 16 varsity teams. They host the annual "Walk For Hunger" each May along with many other events throughout the school year.
