My bill passed yesterday. Tax exemption of $5000 off the assessed value of the property in the town of Exeter for Veterans who are totally disabled due to a service-connected disability. To be perfectly honest, I do not think this exemption is enough for our Veterans. My 100% service-connected. Disabled constituents should get more relief like a $5000 credit on their property tax bill. Hopefully, Exeter will send something next year which will create even more tax relief.
