DAEBAK - Brown K-Pop Dance Association Daebak is Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design's student-run kpop cover dance group. So come join us and channel your favorite Korean idols!

DAEBAK is a co-ed dance group that covers the performances of Korean Pop idols. Formed in Spring 2013 with an adamant ‘no-audition’ and 'no experience necessary" policy, the group brings together a community of dancers and music enthusiasts. In Korean, ‘DAEBAK’ means “awesome”, “cool”, or “extraordinary”- it encompasses the passion that its members bring to every practice and performance. The purp

Have you been enjoying our workshops this year? 🤩 Have you been meaning to go but thoughts (excuses) like “omg im so busy” or “i rlly want ratty chicken thighs rn” keep stopping you? 😡🙄

Well...no matter if you’re a real or fake Daebak fan...you’d better TREASURE 💰🏴‍☠️ this weekend’s workshop, because it’s our very last one this school year! 😆😢

Teaching JIKJIN by TREASURE, junior Sharon Han will be showing us how to pedal to the metal this Sunday, February 19 from 2-4 PM in Nelson 1! 😎

Undoubtedly, I indeed know how to spell “paradox!” 💂‍♀️ I am quite triumphant in doing so.

It might seem like a paradox, but the more Daebak workshops you attend, the more time you have to work on important skillz like spelling! 📝 Come to Nelson 1 this Sunday, 2/12 from 2-4 PM to educate yourself. 🥳🙂 Sarah Jung, our spelling teacher, will be teaching Parado### Invasion by Enhypen to all Daebak believers!

ANTIFRAGILE!

Teaching ANTIFRAGILE by LE SSERAFIM, senior Lizzy Zhang will be showing us the ropes of how to flourish 🥳 through future shopping periods. 💪 This confidence-boosting dance session will be on Sunday, February 5th from 4-6 PM in Nelson 1. Luckily, Daebak will be holding DANCE CAMP on Jan 21st to Jan 24th!! Dance camp is our annual opportunity for non-members to learn, clean, and perform a dance with Daebak at our Spring Show 🥳
