Excitement is building for the BYU Microfinance Club! We continue to roll out our weekly Microfinance Forum of exciting guest speakers who’ve had amazing social & economic impacts. Collectively, they’ve worked in dozens of countries, having raised hundreds of millions of dollars to empower some 8 million-plus impoverished people, mostly women in the Third World so they can advance toward economic self-reliance. This week’s presenter is Tim Stay, an amazing high-tech entrepreneur who has launched, grown, & sold a dozen successful businesses. More importantly for our purposes, he’s a high-results social entrepreneur who has co-founded MFI programs around the globe. Come, hear Tim, & meet us tomorrow (Wed, March 20) at 7:00 PM at the Marriott School of Business!

Hey friends, interested in empowering the global poor? Due to popular demand, we've brought the Microfinance Club back to the Marriott School of Business at BYU. It propelled our movement in the 1980s globally & inspired other universities to launch courses & programs like ours for students & faculty across the nation. If you're living in the Utah area & interested in attending, please join us to learn more & get involved. The inaugural event occurred March 13, 2019 when we held our first MFI Forum. So check us out. It was held in Provo on Wed., March 13, 7:00 PM at BYU. The kick-off speaker was you-know-who. Other MFI & NGO social entrepreneurs will follow March 20, 28, & the first weeks of April. Get the dates on your calendar!
