Model United Nations is a class offered at BYU which teaches basic principles of diplomacy through lectures, assignments, and realistic simulations of international multilateral negotiations. In MUN you will acquire skills in policy making, public speaking, debate, consensus building, and resolution writing. We then apply these principles in mock UN sessions where we discuss and solve real UN comm

ittee topics. In the Spring, BYU takes their MUN team to the national conference in New York City where we compete against schools from all over the world. At the conference, BYU maintains a prestigious reputation for always bringing a smart, competent team and winning the top awards. We hope to continue this legacy by finding the most capable and passionate students at BYU to join our exceptional MUN team.

They collaborated and compromised with each other to develop standards for AI usage for Model UN this semester- and got some good diplomacy practice in at the same time :)

What are your thoughts about using AI in the classroom?
