Hey everyone! Don’t forget our meeting tomorrow in the CJ classroom in Martin Hall at 11:30! There will be pizza, cookies, and drinks. We will be giving out T-shirt’s too to those who bought them. We will need nominations for the officer positions, too. Hope to see you all there!

All club members:

The club is having its End of the Year Meeting on Monday, April 23rd. This meeting will include elections for next school year, free lunch, and the giving out of t-shirts if you purchased one.

The meeting is in the CJ Classroom in Martin 208, at 11:30am immediately after the CJ Club meeting is over. If at all possible, please attend this meeting (especially if you're a Junior, Sophomore, or Freshman!) Don't forget, the officer positions include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Media Representative.

The CJ Club is hosting the semi-annual Prepared Mind Discussion (aka Active Shooter Discussion). At this event, Lt. Joel Robison will be speaking on preparedness for emergency situations, which we all know are increasing in frequency. Everyone is welcome to come, and don’t forget your student ID as it’s a Martin Moment.

Merry Christmas! If you would like some light entertainment before the start of finals, please join the Martin Drama Department for our production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. The production is open to the campus community and the public, and is free to everyone. The show is in Martin Hall Auditorium Sunday, December 10th at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, December 11th at 12:30 p.m. This is a Martin Moment event. So, take a break from studying and come enjoy one of the most popular Christmas stories of all time!

The Behavioral Sciences Club is hosting the first Addiction Forum tonight from 5-7pm in the Gault. The speakers for tonight are Patricia Catlin (MMC Nursing Instructor), Stephanie Garner (Health Connect America Clinical Case Manager), Erica Ivey (HCA IOP Coordinator), and Velena Newton (Richland Elementary School Principal). After Co-President Candace Henshaw begins the Forum with some statistics about addiction, then the speakers will present their professional experiences with addiction and how they have seen addiction impact others. There will be a reception after with free food for anyone who attends.
