Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day from the CMB! Please enjoy our rendition of Redbone's classic hit, Come and Get Your Love.

Washington State University acknowledges that its locations statewide are on the homelands of Native peoples, who have lived in this region from time immemorial. There are 37 federally recognized Tribes that historically shared their traditional homelands and waterways in what is now Washington State. Of these, 29 are federally recognized Tribes in Washington with the remaining Tribes in Idaho, Montana, and Oregon, some of which represent multiple tribes and bands.

On October 3, the Cougar Marching Band proudly wore pink ribbon pins in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The ribbons were a small symbol with an important message: honoring those we have lost, supporting those currently fighting, celebrating survivors, and standing alongside the families and loved ones impacted by breast cancer.

We are proud to use our uniform to represent something bigger than ourselves.

Together, we wear pink.🩷
