Lifelong Learning Institute

LLI is a non profit, all volunteer organization striving to provide quality and affordable adult non-credit adult education and related programs: classes, lectures, trips, discussion groups, book club and special events. Our motto is “learning -- just for the fun of it!”

LLI is affiliated with Road Scholar and with the Charlotte campus of Florida SouthWestern State College in Punta Gorda. Programs are held on the campus location at 26300 Airport Road where there is ample and free parking, including handicapped spaces. The campus also offers a cafeteria for a light lunch or just coffee, and a walking & exercise path and picnic tables around a lovely lake to enjoy the great views of cypress and oak trees, herons, ducks, and an occasional alligator!

Campus classrooms are comfortably lighted and are equipped with projection and internet access. All of our programs are organized and implemented with volunteers and we utilize the wealth of experience and expertise of people with high credentials earned in their lifetimes. We strive to be inclusive and diverse in our offerings as well as our participants.
