Today, The Hearth is celebrating Earth Day! Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970 as a part of the environmental movement. 🩵💚

LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities are disproportionately impacted by climate change. While both groups have high rates of homelessness and food insecurity, climate change can worsen the impact (Kanga 2022).
