Back-to-school spending might be a little bit lower this year according to a recent Deloitte survey. Inflation and expectations of economic slow-down seem to be key factors. However, less spending doesn't mean less learning. Students can get similar (or more) materials if the right deal is found. Let the bargain hunting begin!

AI is dominating the news cycle. I recently asked Microsoft Bing's AI interface to write a limerick about Economics, and this is what I got:

"Here’s a limerick about economics:

There once was a man named Keynes,
Whose theories drove some people insane,
He said demand drives supply,
And that’s why we buy,
And it’s all just a part of the game.

I hope you like it!"

Bing then referred me to Dr. Goose's Economical Limericks at www.limericksecon.com (http://www.limericksecon.com/p/ten-limerick-principles-of-economics.html).

Brave new world, friends... brave new world.
