At the Wicked Festival, student researcher/dance major Savannah Wadsworth explored caffeine consumption among college students—asking how everyday choices impact focus, sleep, and wellbeing. Her project proposes reducing high caffeine intake (above 400mg) through substitution trials with non‑caffeinated beverages, translating research into practical solutions that support healthier learning environments. Bridgitte Hammond from Fairmont, WV began dancing at 6 years old. Bridgitte will be graduating this spring with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in Performance. During her time at Radford, she has worked with professors and choreographers such as Inessa Plekhanova, James Robey, Deborah McLaughlin, Ji-Eun Lee, Amy Vankirk, General Hambrick, and Amy Miller. She is an Ambassador for the College of Visual and Performing Arts. She plans to perform with a contemporary company, travel to showcase dance, complete her Masters of Fine Arts in Dance, and become a choreographer/professor.
