FRIDAY NIGHT VIEWING - 24 April

Things look good for tonight, so we'll be viewing out at the observatory tonight - Jupiter, the Moon, Venus, and some other cool objects are up for us to see.

FRIDAY NIGHT (APRIL 10) OBSERVING... MOVED TO SATURDAY THIS WEEKEND.

We've all seen the weather - tonight is terrible.

Tomorrow, though, is supposed to be great. I'll be out there Saturday evening (April 11) starting about 8. It's best to give me a call (number below) if you're planning on coming.

See you Saturday :)

FRIDAY NIGHT OBSERVING... OR NOT (March 6):
____________________________________
Hi all:

Weather remains terrible... ice and snow on the (shaded) road out to the observatory is too risky to try viewing tonight.

This coming week is promising, though - please give me a call if things look good, even if it's not Friday.

FRIDAY NIGHT OBSERVING (February 20):
____________________________________
Hi all:

No viewing tonight... it's partly cloudy to worse, and the additional snow (some turned to ice) makes going out to Selu at 11˚ fairly risky.

See you next week.

FRIDAY NIGHT OBSERVING (February 20):
____________________________________
Hi all:

There won't be public viewing tonight - the cold is bad, but more importantly it can be a bit treacherous driving out to Selu in conditions like this (long, downhill, shaded, icy dirt road).

See you next week, when the Moon won't be in the sky and we'll be able to see some of the darker objects in the sky.
