The Radford University Davis College of Business & Economics offered office space and volunteer work to assist the New River Community Action’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Highlanders helped file 87 tax returns, and it’s estimated that VITA’s work saved local taxpayers well over $250,000.
