🏆 In first place, Vizma Life Sciences is developing next-generation, low-cost molecular imaging to deliver diagnostic power that is safer and more convenient.

🏆 Second place winner Mammae Biosciences is working to commercialize a cost-effective and scalable method for producing LacNAc, a key probiotic and health-promoting human milk oligosaccharide (HMO), to meet the growing consumer demand for foods containing HMOs.

🏆 Third place was awarded to DNAli Data Technologies who is developing an end-to-end DNA data storage platform to enable long-lasting data storage that is also environmentally friendly.

Spotit, a Belgium-based cybersecurity company, will open its first U.S. office on NC State University's Centennial Campus – creating more than 100 jobs over the next five years.

The City of Raleigh approved a rezoning for
NC State's Centennial Campus that will allow for growth. Future plans will enhance our industry partnerships, lay the groundwork for a 32-acre innovation district and preserve 25% of the campus for green space.

NC State’s Centennial Campus has become a popular landing spot for companies expanding in Raleigh, and the rezoning could mean major development in the future.

NC State University has named Mark Schmidt AVC for Partnerships. Schmidt will be responsible for overseeing Centennial Campus partnerships and other key industry, government and nonprofit collaborations. Schmidt previously held a 22-year career at John Deere, leading the company's global university relations strategy. Welcome, Mark!

As associate vice chancellor for partnerships, Schmidt will oversee the Office of Partnerships strategy for engaging with corporate, government and nonprofit partners, including the 75 partnerships on Centennial Campus.
