"In genetics, the more you learn, the more questions you have." 🧬

For Razi Sayyed ‘27, seeking answers meant diving headfirst into everything NC State has to offer. By embracing curiosity, he went from an ER tech and amateur boxer to a community leader launching vital campus organizations.

His advice? Don’t just look for opportunities, create them.

Razi Sayyed ’27 founded a national boxing club, led global medical trips and is shaping his future in medicine.

captured the essence of the Park Scholarship in her commencement address.

“Park has asked something more of us… Instead of focusing on the next rung on life’s ladder, I encourage you all to be intentional. Who will be better off because of what I choose to do next? Will we use what we have been given to create opportunities for others? Will we choose purpose even when it is harder than prestige?”
