The Global Training Initiative at NC State University builds global success through customized short

The Global Training Initiative (GTI) at North Carolina State University equips students and professionals with the knowledge and skillset they need to succeed in today's global economy by harnessing the university's resources. GTI is part of the Office of International Affairs and partners with various departments and units across campus to deliver custom training programs.

Think globally, act locally. 🌎🐺

During this past year, 136 students took their education further through our Developing Cultural Competence (DCC) program.

In just four weeks, these students moved from exploring their own identities to solving real-world challenges with peers from around the globe.

Special shoutout to our first-ever Cultural Exchange Facilitator! 👏 As a double major in political science and international studies, Kayla is proof that at NC State, one high-impact experience can lead to a career-ready future.

“The DCC taught me the principles, and the CEF helped me put it into practice,” Kayla says.
