Delta Kappa Epsilon at NC State

The Delta Rho chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon at NC state is a proud supporter of the Wake County Boys Club. In addition to our weekly service at the boys club, we will hold our annual Dunk-A-Deke in NCSU’s brickyard on April 19th. All of the proceeds from this event go to the Wake County Boys Club. We hope to raise additional money for the Wake County Boys Club through Go Fund Me with a goal of $7,500 by April 19th to further the educational development of the children of Wake County.

PHILANTHROPY UPDATE: So with this being our colony's first attempt at a philanthropy event we were bound to mess up somewhere. We were unaware that the Wounded Warrior Project requires you to register any events with them in order to donate money and they will not receive open checks, so instead of donating money to WWP we decided to donate every penny we raised from our GoFundMe and our Dunk-a-DKE philanthropy event to the Boy's and Girl's Club of Raleigh, who we have been involved with all semester long. For a few hours every Friday we have brothers go out to the Boy's and Girl's Club to play basketball, dodgeball or whatever activities they have lined up for us that day. Although the plan to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project fell through, we are glad that we could award the Raleigh Boy's and Girl's Club with a check of over $600! We would like to thank everyone who supported our philanthropy event and helped donate to a great cause! We are glad we could directly help those in our community and are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Raleigh Boy's and Girl's Club in the future!

Here is a list of all of the brothers' time slots for when they will be in the dunk tank tomorrow so find some time to come out to the Brickyard and Dunk-a-DKE! Don't forget that it's $1 for 1 throw, $2 for 3 throws and $5 means you automatically get to dunk your favorite DKE! Also a $25 Flying Biscuit Cafe gift card will be up for raffle, tickets are only $2!
