Exciting news for the future of nuclear energy! The Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy has awarded NC State $18.3 million to launch CRεST (Consortium for Reactor Safety Training), a new initiative focused on strengthening the future nuclear energy workforce. Led by NC State University's Department of Nuclear Engineering, CRεST will advance workforce training, community engagement, and education around the economic and environmental benefits of nuclear energy.
