Students for Immigrant Rights and Equality at NCSU

Students for Immigrant Rights and Equality at NCSU SIRE is dedicated to the advocacy of immigrant and human rights. We strive to educate our community We also protest, boycott and petition.

SIRE takes action in three ways: education, political action, and community service. Education: We host events called Charlas for Change (or Chats for Change) where we bring speakers to talk about different immigration topics. Political Action: We send out newsletters to update people on the latest immigration news and policy. Sometimes we lobby representatives and help to get compassionate leade

rs elected. Community Service: We support undocumented immigrants like Jose Chicas, through volunteer events and fundraisers.

Join us for a March in Solidarity with Palestine 🕊️🇵🇸
Students of every background—this is our moment to make a difference. As the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and change-makers, we have a responsibility to stand up against injustice wherever it exists. The Palestinian people have endured decades of occupation, displacement, and violations of basic human rights. By standing for Palestine, you stand for freedom, equality, and dignity for all.

As students, we must lead the way in creating a world that values justice over oppression. Together, we can amplify the voices of the voiceless and demand lasting change.

📅 Date: Oct 5
🕒 Time: 1:30 PM
📍 Location: NC State University Belltower

Let’s unite for peace and human rights. Every step we take and every voice we raise makes a difference. See you there!
