Slow down before you share!

Misinformation and deepfakes can easily cloud the facts during election season. If a headline triggers a strong reaction, double-check the source, look for red flags (like ALL CAPS or name-calling), and rely on trusted fact-checkers before taking action.
Stay informed and verify the details at NationalVoterEducationWeek.org/vote!

You have the right to vote even if someone challenges your eligibility at the polls. If something feels wrong, ask for a provisional ballot. Poll workers cannot turn you away.

The officials elected in 2026 will make decisions about housing, healthcare, schools, and wages in your community.

Getting informed is how registration becomes real participation, and how communities make sure their priorities are reflected in who leads them. NationalVoterEducationWeek.org/ballot

Millions of people are registered to vote but don't end up casting a ballot. Even after completing that first step, sometimes they don’t know where to go, what's on the ballot, or whether they have the right ID. The choices on our ballots in 2026 will affect housing, healthcare, schools, and wages in your community. Getting informed is how registration becomes real participation.
