Session 2 of Chi Türkiye Small Animal Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) program has wrapped up! In Urla, Izmir, Türkiye, veterinarians were brought together for immersive wet labs and explored the core principles of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine while strengthening their acupuncture point location skills through hands-on, collaborative training. 🐶

With new skills and confidence, participants head back to their clinics ready to apply what they’ve learned and continue their journey when they reconvene for the next on-site session.

🇨🇦🎉 Chi Canada recently celebrated the completion of Session 2 of the Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) program! Veterinarians traveled to Essex, Canada, to study the foundations of TCVM and practice point location through hands-on, small-group learning. 🐶🐴

Participants now return to their clinics equipped with new knowledge and confidence and will reunite for their next on-site session in July.

Today, we’re sharing a case from one of our fantastic instructors, Dr. Mitsie Vargas. This French Bulldog was diagnosed with masticatory muscle myositis, a systemic disorder, and was experiencing severe muscle atrophy affecting the eyelid.

Using her expertise in Balance Method acupuncture, Dr. Vargas used Facial P Formula and performed aquapuncture and pneumo-acupuncture. After just one session, there was noticeable improvement in eyelid function.
