A long day closes in the Simpson University Music Department as we finish up our dress rehearsal for our spring concert “A Song For Us.” From Renaissance madrigals and motets, Romantic partsong, jazz, pop, gospel, and folk songs to original songs by our own student and faculty, we will have a song for you. Concert this Friday, April 14, 7pm Simpson University. Tickets are available at the door. Door opens at 6:20pm. Hope to see you there!

So grateful to have had Pastor Tim Meier visit our songwriting class to share about the new worship songs birthed from Alliance Worship and their stories, hearts and processes behind the songs. So proud of our students for sharing their new songs. We were inspired to hear the history, vision, and mission of our Christian and Missionary Alliance and look forward to continue A.B. Simpson’s legacy to continue to write new songs and share our fourfold gospel story, Christ our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and the Coming King for all the world. Simpson University
