Join us for an evening of chamber music with the nonesuch.reedquintet!

Based in Eugene, Oregon, nonesuch.reedquintet is a professional chamber ensemble recognized for its innovative programming, artistic excellence, and commitment to expanding the reed quintet repertoire. Formed by some of the Pacific Northwest's leading woodwind performers (including one of our alumni, Dexter Hidalgo), the ensemble presents compelling performances that pair masterworks with contemporary music, champion living composers, and explore the artistic possibilities of one of chamber music's most distinctive ensembles.

A world premiere of a piece for harp-oboe-viola trio, composed by Alex Loosley, with guest artists Emily Montoya-Barnes, harp; Aaron Hill, oboe; Dustin Budish, viola.

A premiere of a solo harp piece by Wesley Pittman.

Vanessa Porter, violin; Alejandro Pinzon, bandoneon; Regan Dodge, harp; Brandon Dodge and the Tahoe Percussion Collective; Nataly Roznitovsky, piano; Northern Nevada Ballet Academy dancers, directed by Kris Swaczyna; Lisandro Acosta, cello; Yuxin Xiao, conductor, and the Reno Harp Ensemble with harp guests from the region.
