I wanted to let everyone know about some news. After twelve plus years of helping student-athletes and their families through the recruiting process, I have decided to begin the transition into retirement (again). I will be closing Play Up Athletics at the end of the month. I have decided to move on and see what new adventures await me. I am excited for the next chapter in my life, and to be able to downshift a little bit and enjoy my retirement a little bit more. So be happy for me!
Accordingly, effective January 1st, my daughter Allie will be taking over any new clients, coaching her existing clients, and day-to-day operations of the recruiting assistance program we have been coaching.
I will remain with my clients and coach them until they don’t need me anymore, but I will not be taking on any new clients. Allie and I will still be using a team approach to our coaching, albeit me from behind the scenes, by being in almost daily contact about all our clients. But I will be beginning to transition away from it at the first of the year.
I would like to take a moment to say thank you to all of our clients, partners, and collaborators for trusting us and reassure you all that are still with us that we will be here for the rest of your journey as well. I am very proud of the difference we have made in the lives of the athletes we have coached and their families. We have built friendships and relationships I hope will last a lifetime. It has been a journey I will treasure for the rest of my life. Again, thank you for your patronage and thank you for your friendship.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out.
