Rachel Salas, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Literacy Studies, was recently awarded a Fulbright U.S. Scholarship to South Africa, where she will spend seven months expanding upon her work of advancing student literacy and agency through STEM and robotics.
“...It all comes down to helping students develop a sense of confidence and agency,” says Salas. “The belief in themselves that, ‘I can do this, and I know I can.’”
