The Montag is currently accepting submissions for its debut issue! To submit to The Montag:
Please send your submission via email to [email protected]
-The subject of the email should read “NAME-TITLE”
-The format of the submission should be Microsoft word format, 12-point font, Times New Roman.
-Citations should be formatted in the accepted professional format of the

related field. The Montag is the College of Liberal Arts Journal of Undergraduate Research and we invite you to submit your scholarly work to have a chance to be published in the Spring 2015 issue! The Montag is a peer-reviewed and faculty-advised journal edited and produced by students. We are dedicated to highlighting undergraduate scholarship pertaining to the liberal arts and seek to provide the opportunity for all undergraduate students at UNR to have the chance to publish outstanding scholarship. All undergraduates currently attending UNR are encouraged to submit their work—we accept all scholarly work pertaining to liberal arts disciplines including scholarly essays, research papers, theses, short translations, original poetry and creative writing. Also, we are accepting black-and-white photography and original black-and-white-artwork submissions, which will be showcased within the journal.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Eligibility:
-In order to submit to The Montag the author must be an undergraduate student at University of Nevada, Reno.
- Although the student is not required to be a CLA student, the submission must be relevant to a CLA subject.
-Submitted work must be the original research of the author.
-The author must be willing to work with The Montag throughout the revision process.
-The author must consent to publication with the Publication Consent Form
