Nevada Residence Hall Association - RHA

Nevada Residence Hall Association - RHA RHA stands for the Residence Hall Association (in case you were wondering). We are an organization built up of leadership councils from each hall.

RHA is an organization consisting of student leaders within the residence halls that work hard to provide for their fellow residents and ensure that their time spent in the residence halls is memorable. We serve many purposes within the University of Nevada, Reno's residence hall community, including but not limited to:

-Providing a representative voice and participatory role for all who reside i

n the residence halls of the University of Nevada, Reno
-Maintaining the productive and communicative relationship with the Department of Residential Life, Housing, and Food Service (RLHFS) in the common interest of continually improving the academic, social, and personal growth of all residents
-Building cooperation between the residence hall communities by providing them the tools and resources necessary to attain their full potential
-Being a center of active and positive participation, both on campus and in the community, for all residents
-Encouraging leadership development within the residence halls for the preparation of students to become effective community leaders
-Promoting the skills necessary to be productive members of a free and open democratic society.
