Northwood Tech recently celebrated a successful certification weekend as students in both our EMT and Firefighter programs participated in hands-on exams required to enter their professions.

On June 6, EMT students participated in NREMT certification, demonstrating essential, lifesaving skills in pediatric, adult and geriatric care. Our students achieved an outstanding 96.5% first-time pass rate.

On June 6-7, firefighter candidates completed the final hands-on testing required for Firefighter I and Firefighter II certification. Students demonstrated a wide range of firefighting and rescue skills, earning an impressive 96.6% first-time pass rate.

These results reflect the dedication of our students, faculty, and support teams in preparing the next generation of emergency responders. Congratulations to all who participated in this important milestone!

We had an amazing Cosmetology workshop on Monday, April 27 at the Rice Lake Campus!

Over 50 talented cosmetology professionals and students joined us for an afternoon full of fresh inspiration, featuring live demos of the latest cut and color techniques. We also dove into ways to refresh business and marketing strategies to stay ahead in the industry.

A huge thank you to the teams from Salon-Only-Sales and Surface Hair for helping coordinate and share their expertise.
