The Center for US Latin America Initiatives is hosting former president of Mexico Vicente Fox on Monday, February 19 at 5:30 PM in the Student Services Addition Auditorium. Mr. Fox will speak on his latest book, Let’s Move On: Beyond Fear & False Prophets. This event is free and open to the public.

This a great article about Hobson Wildenthal Honors College students Samee Ahmad, Clisha D'Souza, Linda Schiller, and Ben Wroblewski. These four students were presented with the Global Citizen Award by the Center for U.S. Latin American Initiatives for their extraordinary efforts during the Oaxaca study abroad experience last summer.

At the end of a summer internship, seven students opted to stay for an additional four weeks in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, but Ben Wroblewski, Samee Ahmad, Clisha D’Souza and Linda Schiller embarked on a decidedly bolder course.

The Honors College will be hosting an Education Abroad information table on January 18 from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM in the Green Center Atrium. This will be a great chance to learn more about the programs UT Dallas offers and to ask any questions you have about study abroad.

The Anson L. Clark Summer Research Program is a summer research program for incoming freshmen at UT Dallas. Students join active research groups and launch their research careers through an intensive summer experience. For Summer 2018 applicants, the first application deadline is coming up on January 3.
