Adam and Amine Azizi helped to develop experimental techniques that led to a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant for Dr. Shashank Sirsi. The team is developing an ultrasound-based contrast agent that could allow doctors to monitor oxygen levels continuously in the brains of newborns with hypoxic brain injury.
