Hey y'all! Valentine's day is just around the corner, to get the celebration started, we're excited to announce the Valentine's Day Picnic! We working with QTPOC Wesley and Ostem to bring you a safe, affirming space to eat snacks, create crafts, and celebrate yourself! If that interests you, then come join us in the Galaxy Rooms today, Thursday, anytime between 11:00am and 3:00pm!

Did I mention there's a photo booth :hushed:! Bring a friend, or a partner, and celebrate Valentine's day at UTD :)! We hope to see y'all there! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Hello everyone! We at the officer team hope that your week is going well, and if you're midterms are starting, that you study all the right things!

If you want to get away from the stress, enjoyed the Valentine's day cafe, or just want hang out with Pride, consider coming to our annual Pride Valentine's Day Potluck! The party gets started 5:00pm, this Friday, at the phase 2 club house. Note that this is an hour EARLIER to our normal meetings. Don't worry if you can't make it by 5:00, we'll be sure to keep the party going for you! We'll have food, drinks, games, and crafts, as well as warm smiles :)!

We understand that not everyone can bring something to the potluck, and that's okay! Food will be there regardless, but if you can bring something, we'd really appreciate it! We'd love to see you there!

Who: Anyone interested in engaging in fun valentine's related activities with the LGBTQIA+ community at UTD.

What: Pride's Valentine's Potluck! Full of games, crafts, food, and community!

When: This Friday, tomorrow, at 5:00pm!

Where: The Phase 2 clubhouse.

Why: Who doesn't love to party :)

If you are going to bring something, let an officer know! We don't want 30 people bringing brownies! Whether or not you can make it, have a great week. We see y'all there!!!

Hey everyone! We're super excited to be hosting our first officially official event of the semester, THIS Friday! Tomorrow! At 6:00pm. Come and meet the new officer team, mingle with your fellow Pride members, and play a rousing game of GAY JEOPARDY, which is like Jeopardy, but gay, and we don't know all the rules. It will be loads of fun! Hope your week is going well, I sincerely do, and I hope to see y'all there!

Howdy everyone! We had so much fun at the boba social, and hope y'all did as well! We saw plenty of new faces, and we're so excited for the semester going forward! As promised, we have finished the required paperwork, and have for you our Spring 2020 meeting times and locations!

Note: the Valentine's day party is going to be a potluck! And start an hour earlier than most meetings, at 5:00pm. Don't worry if you can't make the early meeting time, we'll be sure to keep the party going for you :)!

Howdy y'all! The officer team hopes everyone has had a wonderful start to the spring semester! As promised, the Spring Schedule will be posted in the next couple of days, but this is not that post. Right now, we wanted to extend an invitation to our first officially unofficial Pride event of the semeter! We're going to be meeting at the Visitors center to carpool to Chatime!

Who: Anyone interested or curious in joining the UTD LGBT+ community

What: Get boba, make friends, break the ice, and discuss what we have in store for you this semester.

When/Where: meet at the Visitors Center @ 5:00pm this Friday, January 31st to carpool to Chatime. (Or meet us there)

We're so excited to officially unofficially kick off pride events this semester, and hope to see y'all there 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈.

Hey y'all, first of all, we at the officer team would like to wish you a belated welcome back to school! We really hope you're having a wonderful start to the Spring semester, and can't wait to see all your smiling faces :). We will be releasing the official pride meeting schedule shortly, but in the mean time, we have an LGBT+ Social event for you on campus THIS Wednesday.

XAI is hosting a Mix & Mingle THIS Thursday, January 30th! If you didn't know already Chi Alpha Iota, or XAI, is awesome! Their UTD's first LGBTQ affirming, gender neutral diaternity! So if you want the chance to mix, mingle, or perhaps both with your fellow comets, make sure you don't miss this event! We hope to see you there : )!

Hey Pride folx!

We're looking for speakers to be willing to present for this week's "Intersectionality" meeting. This meeting is going to cover the basics of the larger idea of "intersectionality" and how interpretations of s*x and gender can vary across class and race. We also want to shed light on identities + s*xualities that are less commonly talked about, and that is where you come in!

We are looking for people willing to speak about one or more identities that would often be overlooked by the LGBT+ label. We're allowing for mini TED talks, so a presentation can be visual if you would like one!
