We are so proud to see the impact of NDSA’s sisterhood and service recognized in our community. Thank you to AARP Texas for being such a valued community partner as we continue creating meaningful change together.

🎉Many thanks to the North Dallas Alumnae Chapter of the North Dallas Suburban Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for recognizing us as a valued community partner!

Before more than 200 attendees at the chapter’s annual May Tea, we were noted for our shared commitment to service and community impact.

We’re excited to keep building this strong relationship with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the amazing Delta Dears, many of whom already serve as dedicated AARP volunteers, as we continue to engage and collaborate across our communities. 💪🏽❤️

Our Delta Academy and Delta GEMS End-of-Year Celebration and Rites of Passage was truly phenomenal! With more than 80 attendees, we proudly celebrated the growth, achievements, and accomplishments of our middle and high school participants throughout the year. From college tours and financial literacy to self-esteem, confidence, and cultivating proper presence, these young ladies embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. We also recognized our eighth-grade young ladies as they prepare to transition into Delta GEMS and proudly honored our graduating seniors during a special rites of passage celebration, recognizing their hard work and next steps as they prepare to attend college or serve our country. The evening concluded with a warm reception, giving families and supporters an opportunity to fellowship, connect, and celebrate together.

🌟 From the classroom to the community — NDSA is shaping the future, one young person at a time.

During the 2024–2026 biennium, the North Dallas Suburban Alumnae Educational Development Committee delivered programming that met our youth where they are — and challenged them to go further.

🔬 International STEAM Day RAFT, Delta Academy, and GEMS united to explore careers in engineering, AI, dentistry, and the creative arts through hands-on activities and live career panels with community partners.

🚤 RAFT Our youngest leaders, ages 5–10, experienced the performing arts, gave back through a Love Pacs food drive, celebrated Black History Month, and developed the life skills to become tomorrow's citizens.

💜 Delta Academy & GEMS Our older girls tackled period poverty and book censorship, toured 5 colleges across three states, and engaged in community conversations on mental health, AI, and college preparation.

From our littlest leaders to our young women on the frontlines of change — NDSA is committed to nurturing purpose-driven youth at every age and stage.

Together, these efforts strengthened global awareness, uplifted vulnerable populations, and reinforced Delta Sigma Theta’s commitment to the empowerment of women and girls worldwide.
