“UT Dallas slowly became home in ways I never expected. It started with conversations with roommates I somehow picked before even fully knowing them, like Pokémon, and it turned into late night talks, last minute assignments, and our questionable new cuisine inventions that somehow always worked out. I feel incredibly lucky to have my own little “Adoption Centre” (our name for the little family that we became without even trying). From ISA cultural nights and campus events to networking events and even the fun moments around bookstore, every experience added something special. My professors at JSOM pushed me to grow even on days I did not feel like it, and working at the bookstore made every day better because of the amazing people I worked with. All of these moments, whether in class, at work, or at events, slowly built my confidence and helped me grow into a more grounded version of myself. I’m truly grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey and made my time at UTD so special.”

As tradition, we love to commemorate a few of our graduating student workers. Congratulations, Nimanshu!

“I enrolled in UTD's ITM program thinking "how hard can a Master's degree be?" Famous last words, as it turns out. Somehow, between the late nights, the group projects, an on-campus job, and the slow realization that I actually loved this stuff, I went from winging it to genuinely thriving. UTD has a funny way of doing that. It breaks you down just enough, then hands you the tools to build something better. Still chaotic. Just competently chaotic now.”

As tradition, we love to commemorate a few of our graduating student workers. Congratulations, Harsh*th!

“I came to UT Dallas with nothing but ambition and curiosity, not knowing what I would become, only knowing I had to start. Between deadlines, detours, and learning how to live life on my own terms, what once felt out of reach slowly became routine, and in that process, I met the best version of myself. I became disciplined, consistent, and the kind of person who shows up even when nothing goes as planned. Just like that, what 2 years at UTD taught me, 22 years couldn’t prepare me for. Forever grateful for my family and friends who made this journey lighter… so yeah, I’m a GRADUADOO now 👩🏽‍🎓✨🤍”

“UTD helped me discover who I am becoming. Through challenges, friendships, and the network I built, I learned to think bigger and trust my own growth. This campus shaped me in ways a classroom alone never could, teaching me resilience, curiosity, and confidence. I leave with a degree, but more importantly, with gratitude for the people and experiences that shaped me.”

As tradition, we love to commemorate a few of our graduating student workers. Congratulations, Tanisha!

“When I first stepped into UTD, I had no idea how my journey would unfold. Starting in my first semester, I joined the Parking and Transportation department as a PEO, and today I’m proud to be an Office Lead. This journey gave me confidence, helped me grow, and introduced me to amazing people, especially my supervisor Jonathan, whose support meant a lot. Alongside this, UTD shaped my thinking in a more practical and meaningful way through academics. Standing here today, I feel proud of how far I’ve come. UTD gave me more than I ever expected.”

As tradition, we love to commemorate a few of our graduating student workers. Congratulations, Nimitha!

"My time at The University of Texas at Dallas has been full of growth, new experiences, and meaningful connections. From late nights studying with friends to being involved on campus, I’ve made memories that I’ll always carry with me. It’s been a journey of learning not just academically, but also about myself and what I want for the future. UTD has truly felt like a second home."

As tradition, we love to commemorate a few of our graduating student workers. Congratulations, Akshay!
