Iota Delta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity INC.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was established January 9, 1914, on the campus of Howard University, in Washington, D.C. Langston Taylor, Leonard F.

It's colors are royal blue and pure white. The fraternity's motto is Culture for Service and Service for Humanity. The fraternity was founded by three distinguished and progressive gentlemen, A. Morse, and Charles I. Brown, who stressed that Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service be the three main ideals upon which the fraternity would be built. Beta Sigma should be an organization that would be inclusive, rather than exclusive, in regards to membership and the community we serve. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, INC. is one of the nine member organizations of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). The "Illustrious" Iota Delta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma was established on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University on March 23, 1977. The fraternity of Phi Beta Sigma is the brother organization to the sorority known as Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Together they are known as the family of Blu and White (or Zete Phi Bet Sigma). They are also the only two greek organizations that have a true brotherly and sisterly relationship due to the fact that they are constitutionally bound.
