Every year, hosts the Faculty Research Fellowship program, an initiative designed to expand research opportunities for faculty. Three experienced faculty members have been selected as the inaugural fellows for the 2025–26 academic year: Dr. Jason Fry, Dr. Mike Lane and Dr. Jason Marion. Together, these three will participate in nationally funded projects across the sciences and health fields, strengthening EKU’s impact on the region and beyond. 🔬🧠

✨ We are welcoming our new faculty through social media over the next few weeks! ✨

Join us in welcoming Dr. Lauren Baney from the EPHAMS department!

Dr. Baney says she's most looking forward to getting to know all the students and faculty and learning about Kentucky! I am also excited to teach a brand-new class that I created, called Cutting Edge Kindness. Everyone should sign up!!

Some fun facts about Dr. Baney: She just qualified for her first national Oly weightlifting competition, and she is working with other CHS faculty to get a strength club going at EKU. Another thing everyone should sign up for!!! Also, if you have a dog, please stop by Dizney 229 and show her a picture!

If you see Dr. Baney around campus this fall say hello & make her feel welcomed to the CHS
family!
