The Health Science/Medical Assisting program at ECPI University is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) at our Richmond, VA campus. ECPI University's Medical Assisting program is accredited by ABHES (Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools), only students that graduate from an ABHES accredited institution can become a “Certified Medical Assistant” by the

American Association of Medical Assistants. When you graduate from ECPI University, you will be able to sit for this very prestigious certification, students from other programs because they graduated from a non-accredited program, will not be able to earn these credentials.
