Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi

Today, the Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi had the opportunity to serve and engage with youth in our community through an interactive STEAM event focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Our brothers were on the ground working directly with students guiding hands-on activities, encouraging curiosity, and helping bring learning to life in a fun and meaningful way. From creative experiments to problem-solving stations, the energy in the room reflected what happens when mentorship meets opportunity.

This is what we are committed to impacting the next generation, supporting education, and showing up where it matters most.

We are proud of the work done today and even more excited about what’s ahead as we continue to build, serve, and lead in the Canton-Madison community.

The Canton–Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter was proud to participate in a Room to Read event at Ann Smith Elementary School.

Today, our brothers had the opportunity to read to second grade students in their classrooms, reinforcing the importance of literacy and showing our youth that education matters. Principal Harness, the teachers, and the students expressed their appreciation for the time, presence, and positive engagement from our chapter.

A special thank you to Brother Mumford, Brother McDonald, Brother Keys, and Brother Melvin for representing the chapter and giving back through service.

On Saturday, January 3, the Brothers of the Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter had the honor of giving back to our community by hosting a fun-filled BINGO event at the Madison County Nursing Home in Canton, MS. ♦️

Smiles, laughter, fellowship, and genuine connection filled the room as we shared quality time with the residents. Moments like these remind us that service is about presence, love, and showing up for those who paved the way before us.

♦️ Nupes Spreading Holiday Cheer ♦️

This holiday season, a few brothers of the Canton–Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. were honored to spread joy through music, fellowship, and service at Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center.

Through live entertainment and genuine connection, they had the opportunity to lift the spirits of patients and staff, reminding everyone that community, compassion, and brotherhood are at the heart of what we do.

Thank you to Mississippi Methodist Rehabilitation Center for welcoming us and allowing us to share in the holiday spirit. Moments like these reinforce our commitment to service, culture, and making a meaningful impact.

Your presence, your energy, and your service made a real impact in the community. It was said by some community members that they hadn't seen this much red in a long time and they were definitely excited to see the Nupes ♦️👌🏾

This week the Canton–Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter showed up in full support of the Concerned Citizens of Madison County Food Drive.

Our brothers stepped in to help collect donations, greet families, and serve our community with pride. Thank you to every brother who took the time to be present, represent the chapter well, and pour back into the place we call home.

Service is our foundation and we lived that out.

The Canton–Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi and the Upsilon Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. are proud to partner together for our annual Turkey Giveaway.

Join us November 25, 2025 from 6 PM to 10 PM at Rogers Park in Canton, MS as we support families in our community during the holiday season.

Kappa League of Canton–Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter joined forces with the Jackson Alumni Chapter to serve at the Mississippi Food Network in Jackson, MS — helping pack food for families in need.

This effort is part of our Guide Right Program, where we teach young men the value of leadership, service, and brotherhood through action.

A special thank you to the parents, Kappa League members, and brothers who made this day possible. Your commitment to guiding the next generation continues to make a lasting impact.
