Textbooks are a financial burden for many college students. OER (open educational resources) are excellent tools for reducing this burden. OER come in all formats, from videos, textbooks, images, and more. What they have in common is their use of open licenses, which allow you to share and edit the resources. Beyond their financial benefits, OER can also encourage creativity and innovation in the classroom!

To learn more about these awesome resources, check out our guide to OER: https://ripon.edu/guide/open-educational-resources-oer/
