UWRF has updated their masking expectations, see their original caption:

“As Pierce County has reached a substantial COVID-19 transmission rate, we are now expecting all individuals, including those who are fully vaccinated, to wear a mask in public indoor settings. This policy change, effective immediately, is in alignment with CDC guidance and has been done so in consultation with the Pierce County local health department.

We look forward to a return to a full college experience this fall. We will continue to monitor and respond to data and public health guidance should the situation change.

Finally, we advocate vaccines, as they are the best tool we have for achieving protection for you and others. We are housed under the Student Success Center-which is why we get to help with and host different events like Nesting Days and the Jumpstart program. Both are opportunities to be on campus early, meet fellow Falcons, and connect with academic resources!📚

Nesting Days are half-day sessions open to new students and families on July 16th and 17th. You will hear from our campus partners, meet the OTLs⬆️view the residence halls🛏, and get a free lunch😋!!
