Learning by doing: Freshwater Collaborative immerses students in field, water and lab activities

Pazdernik is one of 12 students from both Wisconsin and Minnesota enrolled in the summer lab and field techniques course. UWRF’s Plant and Earth Science Department faculty and staff, Bahar Hassanpour and Heather Davis, lead the program, with additional researchers like Berns-Herrboldt joining in the student training. Later in July, more students will participate in the DAM Crew, which focuses on activities in the Kinnickinnic River.
