Finanzas para Emprendedores es un espacio diseñado para personas con negocios, emprendimientos o ideas que desean crecer con bases financieras sólidas. Join Us for the Ethics & Leadership Lecture

The Brennan School of Business at Dominican University is pleased to welcome John Silvia, President of Dynamic Economic Strategy, LLC, as the featured speaker for this year’s Ethics & Leadership Lecture. A nationally recognized economist, Silvia previously served as Chief Economist for Wells Fargo Securities and as a senior economist on Capitol Hill. He is also the author of four books on economics and finance, a frequent commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business.

The Ethics & Leadership Lecture, sponsored by the Brennan School’s Christopher Chair in Business Ethics, annually recognizes a leader with the Ethics and Leadership Award. Recipients are invited to share their personal journeys and speak about current issues of principled leadership.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from a distinguished leader in the field of economics.

Dominican University’s Beta Gamma Sigma chapter has earned Highest Honors, the organization’s top recognition for excellence. This achievement, thanks to the leadership of Dr. Molly Burke and Andrea Leinweber (Co-moderators) and our dedicated BGS board. This recognition makes us eligible to award a $1,000 BGS Honor Roll Scholarship in 2025–2026.

This week, students from ENTR 297, our Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship course, stepped into the spotlight—presenting their original business plans to a panel of five local executives/investors in a real-world pitch competition.
These teams made their case in just 10 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A.
