Hey Creative Writers, Happy New Year and I hope your semester is off to a great start.
Just wanted to spread the word about an awesome opportunity. On January 16th (Tuesday), Sam Bailey is coming to Dominican University. She is one of the co-creators of the HBO series Brown Girls. She will be speaking in the Martin Recital Hall from 5-6:30PM.
I (Tiffany) will be there if you want to say hi. The event is free for students. But Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society, will be selling baked goods. It's going to be something that you won't want to miss. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [email protected].

THURSDAY November 2nd at 2:30 PM in Lewis 301.
