On October 22-24, Long Island University - Riverhead will host an accreditation visit by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). In preparation for the visit, the AAQEP Quality Review Team is soliciting public comment about the quality of educator preparation provided by Long Island University - Riverhead. All comments must be submitted by September 24, 2024 through the AAQEP website: https://aaqep.org/third-party-comment

LIU Riverhead alum Connor Munisteri recently joined our Advanced Technology and Curriculum class to share some of his favorite educational technologies with students and surprise guest, Professor David Schultz!

Connor teaches 4th grade at Cutchogue East Elementary School, and recently won the Bright Light Award for his “commitment to advancing education through cutting-edge methods and transcending boundaries making a productive and fun learning environment for students.”

From planning to engagement, Connor highlighted ways that he and his students use ed tech tools across the school day and the curriculum. Kudos to Connor for coming back to his alma mater and sharing his favorite educational technologies with aspiring childhood education teachers!
