💙 UCR LOVE STORY 💛 Zachary Cadima, ‘24, ‘26 and Carolinh Calvert ‘24 met as teammates on the UC Riverside Cross Country and Track & Field teams. 👟 They started college right as COVID happened, so their first collegiate season looked very different than expected. With practices and normal college life being limited, they ended up spending a lot of time together running, training, and just keeping each other company during this time. Over time, their friendship grew & turned into a relationship, and they’ve been together ever since. They were engaged last month! Congrats!!! 🍾💙💍

Lothian Residential Restaurant is getting a major glow up! ✨ The restaurant will feature a refreshed pizza station and a larger, more prominent dessert station. 🍕🍰 The project will also include installing lighting, paint, and wood flooring and replacing the furniture with more modern tables and chairs. 🪑🪑 The room layout will change to include more community tables and bar seating, allowing it to expand its seating capacity from 340 to around 400.

Other changes include:
✔️ an updated look and feel at the entry
✔️ a modernized cashier stand
✔️ a new hand-washing station & more

The goal is for a fall quarter reopening! Stay tuned! 👀
