Opening the 2026 Courtyard Shakespeare Festival is The Bard’s own A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Friday, June 12! This most playful and magical comedy tells the story of young lovers, mischievous fairies, and mistaken identities unfolding over a single enchanted night in the forest. As human reason gives way to dream logic, love becomes irrational, transformation becomes inevitable, and the natural world itself seems alive with possibility.
