Babcock Labs is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant, responsible for handling multiple administrative duties while upholding Babcock Labs’ core values and high ethical standards. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities
•Assist with the recruitment process, which includes creating job postings,
conducting phone-screenings, scheduling interviews, participating in interviews, processing background check requests, and overseeing the new hire on-boarding process
•Prepare and process paperwork for both new hire and exiting employees
•Administer benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life, and disability
Insurances
•Employee Leave Administration
•Maintain employee personnel files
•Process bi-weekly payroll and other related payroll tasks
•Provide miscellaneous administrative support for the Human Resources department
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Human Resources, business administration or related field; or a minimum of three years of experience related to required competencies.
•Knowledge of HR functions, tasks and related California employment laws and regulations
•Phone and computer literacy required (Word, Publisher, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
•Familiarity with HRIS software/accounting programs preferred
•Strong verbal and written communication
