The 2025 Match Challenge has officially begun! The UCR’s Bourns College of Engineering hosts a yearly match challenge where your donations are doubled! Your donation would directly support the manufacturing of our vehicle for the ‘26 competition. We need your support this year to help build HR26-E.

In our most recent competition we have an increased relative performance of +99% overall in comparison to our placement for the 2023 competition. This can be broken down into +3.7% improvement in design, +1427% improvement in the business presentation, and a +197% improvement in cost.

As we enter the match challenge Highlander Racing has already nearly completed the design cycle for HR26-E and it is up to donors to make its manufacturing possible. HR26-E will not only provide practical, real world knowledge, but offers hands-on training for the innovators of today and tomorrow. HR26-E will be a historical achievement for UC Riverside and we hope you can be a part of it. You can donate using the link in our bio!
