March for Science took place this past Saturday in Washington, DC. Many physicians shared their voices and participated in the event this weekend. This article not only outlines what went on at the March for Science, but also describes how it relates to medicine and why physicians felt it was important to show their support in today's environment. Be sure to give it a read!

As both march speakers and participants, physicians expressed concern for public health and research funding but also voiced hope for the beginning of a movement to elevate the role of science in society.
